Happy Poetry Month from Know Allegiance Nation! Please join us for the Spring Illuminate Open Mic on April 27th, from 6-10pm at KAN Books, 9405 John R.
All are welcome to join including singers, poets, emcees, comedians, drummers, air guitarists & karaoke superstars. The event is family friendly, and is a “clean” mic. Door opens at 6:00pm, Open Mic begins at 7:15pm. Suggested donation is $10. Performers: $5. No one turned away.

Bring Resumes! From 6-7pm, on site interviews we given to youth who show up looking for work. We are hiring young people 14-24 to work in the bookstore, on the community radio station, at gardens and farms across the city and also aspiring artists and carpenters. Don’t miss it!
